Are you passionate about supporting businesses and driving skills development across Lancashire? Join the Lancashire Skills and Employment Hub as a Project Coordinator and play a key role in supporting the delivery of the Lancashire Apprenticeship Service, helping SMEs access grants and wraparound support to recruit and retain young apprentices.
As a Project Coordinator, you will:
- Manage and deliver the Young Apprentice Grant project, ensuring targets, budgets, and timescales are met.
- Provide impartial advice and guidance to businesses on apprenticeships and workforce development.
- Build strong relationships with employers, partners, and stakeholders to promote apprenticeships and the Lancashire Skills Pledge.
- Develop and implement communications and engagement plans, including attending events and networking opportunities.
- Monitor and evaluate project performance, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Support and organise events to grow the apprenticeship numbers in Lancashire.
What we're looking for:
- GCSE Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent.
- Experience supporting project delivery and working with IT systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage businesses.
- Knowledge of apprenticeships, including levels, standards, and support organisations.
